Here’s my take on a very quick and easy “no-cheese” parmesan seasoning. This takes about 2 minutes to make, and will transform most of your dishes with a fantastic blast of flavor.
– 1 cup raw cashews (use 1/2 cup as for less leftovers)
– 1/3 cup nutritional yeast (get this from the bulk section at Whole Foods)
– 1 tablespoon Original Blend Mrs. Dash (less if desired, with less cashews)
Take all the ingredients and grind them in a food processor. Spoon it on pasta, vegetables, or anything you like — I HIGHLY recommend putting a big scoop of this on your popcorn for a delicious treat.
Store the leftover “parmesan” in an empty spice jar to use whenever needed.
