Next Stop: Japanese Salad

Sometimes the simple things are the best things in life. We tried to re-create our favorite spring salad from one of our favorite Japanese places, ZenCu, located in Little Tokyo, in downtown Los Angeles. It’s an interesting sports bar/sushi place with best avocado rolls in Los Angeles. The restaurant fills up with an eclectic mix of people watching major sports events on their big flat screen TVs.

This picture of the salad that we made last night doesn’t do justice of how yummy it turned out.

Here’s what we used in ours:

-Spring Salad Mix
-Edamame
-Cherry tomatoes, sliced in thirds
-One avocado
-Makoto ginger dressing
-Toasted sesame seeds

As mentioned above, simple yet crazy delicious.
